​Looking for the next step in your marketing agency career? Monday at Nine are delighted to be recruiting an Account Manager for an award-winning integrated agency in Manchester on their FMCG/retail client accounts. They currently work closely with leading global retailers and FMCG companies and have been instrumental in a whole host of their marketing campaigns.

Your responsibility would be to manage and oversee all activity across the portfolio in this department, ensuring strong relationships are developed and maintained and projects are implemented efficiently. Naturally, being across FMCG companies, the ideal candidate needs to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and pride themselves on their work ethic and passion for retail and FMCG. The market is dynamic and everyday will be different so being a forward-thinker is essential.

The role is all about managing time, junior colleagues and stakeholders to ensure the end result for the client exceeds all expectations. As well as retaining and nurturing existing client relationships, there will naturally be an element of the role which will require a degree of business development to win new clients to add to the portfolio.

As well as having a proven track record at Senior Account Executive level or higher and activation experience, the ideal candidate will need to have the following:

  • Confidence at working across various client accounts at one given time whilst understanding each account inside out to ensure each one receives an exceptional, tailored and creative service.

  • Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal and be confident in doing so.

  • Be able to manage and report cohesively on finances in relation to projects – in line with agency budgeting and profit expectations.

  • Possess strong management skills with junior colleagues and time.

  • Have the ability and desire to build strong, meaningful relationships internally and across all stakeholders – building that important connection so that stakeholders value and trust your support.

  • Have the desire to learn and inherit the agency’s core values and keep them at the heart of everything they do.
