We are currently working with an expanding and established Yorkshire based Manufacturing business to support them in recruiting a new Purchasing Manager.
You'll be joining an established business with over 60 years of trading and a unique proposition selling into the catering, hospitality, medical, retail and food manufacturing industries.
The products are designed and manufactured onsite and include shelving, racking, trolleys and wirework products.
This is a key leadership role for the organisation and is accountable for; management of supplier relationships; sourcing materials, sub-contracting requirements and bought in finished goods in line with production and commercial requirements, cost and quality; proactively manage and mitigate risks within the supply chain on a financial and operational basis; delivering cost savings; and the inventory levels and control of raw materials and bought in finished goods.
The role is key component of the wider supply chain goal of delivering value to the end customer, whilst increasing profits and cash.
