Monday at Nine are pleased to partner with an expanding travel company based in West Yorkshire. Our client is looking for an experienced business travel, corporate travel or tailormade consultant who, ideally, has excellent fares and GDS knowledge to work for a dynamic business offering both on and offline travel services.

The company has recently gone under a rebranding and is expanding into new areas, with rapid growth, hybrid working and competitive salary, this is a really exciting time to join the company.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all travel bookings including accommodation, flights, ferries, rail, vehicles and visas, to worldwide destinations

  • Book complex multisector flight itineraries as well as point to point and working with a variety of fares, with the ability to do your own mark-ups

  • Own the end-to-end management of researching, quoting, booking/confirming, and invoicing

  • Assure the client is aware of all necessary travel documents and health requirements for countries being visited

  • Maintain ownership of each client record until departure to ensure all details (including seat assignments, meal preferences, upgrades etc) are completed to the client's satisfaction

  • Maintain awareness of all airline rules and regulations, tariffs and fare requirements and accurately apply this knowledge to all travel arrangements

  • Manage relationships with clients, ensuring regular communication and a proactive approach

Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience in handling travel related movements, with any group travel experience an advantage

  • Ideally 3 years' experience handling international travel, although we will consider candidates with less experience if they can demonstrate a can-do attitude and a good understanding of the sector

  • Experience using online booking platforms or travel technology would be advantageous

  • Strong customer service skills - ability to think outside the box and maintain strong relationships with clients
